How to Fish It

Target species

• Estuaries and inshore waters: flathead, bream, trevally, snapper, mulloway (jewfish) and whiting.
• Tidal rivers and northern waters: barramundi, mangrove jack, threadfin salmon, estuary cod and golden snapper (fingermark).
• Freshwater and estuary edges: Australian bass and estuary perch.

Choose the weight to suit depth and current. For bream, whiting and perch, focus on fish feeding on larger prawns.
